Title: Writing to Win Seminar
Location: Alameda County Bar Association, Suite 200, 70 Washington Street, Oakland.

Description:

This seminar will focus on how to persuade judges – by thinking strategically when you write. About 100 pages of materials will be distributed. The State Bar has approved this program for three CLE credits.

We’ll discuss strategic principles and examine how they apply to real-life examples. This should help you win your demurrers, motions for summary judgment, motions in limine, and the like.

This is not like other writing courses. It’s about substance – not form. It’s designed to change your way of thinking about how to convince judges – and to get your creative juices flowing.

Date: Wednesday, November 2, 2011, 1:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.

We're sorry, but the registration for this seminar has been closed. Try registering for one of our other seminars coming up in the near future.
